英文詞源
- slake (v.)
- late Old English sleacian, slacian "become slack or remiss; slacken an effort" (intransitive); "delay, retard" (transitive), from sl?c "lax" (see slack (adj.)). Transitive sense of "make slack" is from late 12c.
